New Wide-Range Mental Health Screening Tool Available

In September, the Heels Care Network introduced an online, confidential self-assessment tool. Users anonymously answer a series of mental health and are offered feedback and specific, supportive resources based on the mental health concerns they seem to be encountering.
This tool is an informational resource that shares supportive options on campus and within our local community, serving as a reminder to users that help is available.
The screening begins by asking questions about the user, and any history of treatment for mental health conditions. Then it asks about the following topics:
- Anxiety and Depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Trauma and PTSD
- Substance Use
- Eating disorders
The self-assessment tool does not diagnosis mental health illness, but offer information that can aims support users based on symptoms they may be experiencing.
