You are Not Alone: Mental health resources at Carolina

1–2 minutes
In an effort to promote student mental health and wellbeing, foster a supportive campus environment, and prevent suicide, UNC-Chapel Hill has developed and installed “Hope Signs” as part of its comprehensive mental health strategy. Recommended by the JED Campus Partnership and guided by the JED Task Force, this initiative aims to provide timely, visible reminders of mental health resources in areas where they are most needed.

Everyone needs help sometimes, and asking for help is a sign of strength. If you or a fellow Tar Heel is experiencing emotional distress or undergoing a mental health crisis, there are many resources at Carolina to support you.

The resource hub offers a wide listing of resources on campus and in the community that you can filter based on needs.
