Online Mental Health Screening Tool Now Available

Your mental well-being matters, and now there’s an easy way to take the first step toward understanding your emotional health. The Heels Care Network has launched a short, confidential online questionnaire designed to help you recognize potential signs of common mental health concerns.
This quick screening is not a diagnosis, but it can provide valuable insight into how you’re feeling and whether additional support could help. By answering honestly, you’ll receive personalized guidance and resources to support your mental health journey.
What to Expect
The screening begins with a few questions about you and your treatment history, followed by questions about:
- Anxiety and depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Trauma and PTSD
- Substance use
- Eating disorders
Once completed, you’ll receive a pre-filtered list of resources from the Heels Care Network resource hub tailored to your needs. The list will include options for support right here at Carolina and in the local community, and allows you to filter further based on your role on campus, how quickly you need support, cost of the service, and more.
The mental health screening tool is intended for informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional evaluation or emergency services. For questions about the screening or to connect with non-emergency support, please contact the Heels Care Network.
