Back Into the Groove

Returning to campus after a break can feel harder than the start of the semester. Sleep schedules, routines, and motivation might be off—and that’s completely normal.
Rather than trying to jump back in all at once, give yourself permission to ease into your routine. Small, gentle resets can make the transition smoother and help you feel more in control.
Try this approach:
- Take it one day at a time—set small, achievable goals for today.
- Re-establish routines gradually, like consistent sleep or study times.
- Check in with yourself—notice what’s working and what needs adjusting.
Re-entry doesn’t have to be perfect. A little patience and self-kindness can help you regain your rhythm without feeling overwhelmed.
