Peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers.

A year-round peer support/discussion group providing community and connection among campus and community members. The conversation centers experiences of those who identify as transgender (in any respect), genderqueer, or who are questioning their gender identity or gender expression.

Trained student facilitators lead weekly peer support groups.

Jewish students of all backgrounds come to Hillel to make friends in a warm, accepting environment and to explore what being Jewish means to them. 

The University of North Carolina Postdoctoral Association (PDA) is a peer-led volunteer organization dedicated to addressing the needs and concerns of all UNC postdocs. PDA works closely with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs to provide resources for professional development, generate awareness about problems common to all postdocs, and to foster a sense of community among postdoctoral scholars.

The University Compliance Office (UCO) assists the University community with disability, pregnancy and religious accommodation requests, including auxiliary aids and services. UCO also serves as a resource for those impacted by discrimination and harassment, including sexual and gender-based violence.

The Ombuds Office is a confidential, impartial, informal, and independent resource providing space to talk openly and explore options concerning any Carolina-related challenge while remaining in control of next steps.
