UNC-Chapel Hill is offering faculty and staff – including student employees - a free training opportunity in suicide prevention to support student mental health and well-being.

This asynchronous, online training will help you support someone who may be suicidal. It is offered to members of campus at no cost, as it’s been paid for by a UNC System grant.

  • How to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide
  • The common causes of suicidal behavior
  • The warning signs of suicide
  • How to get help for someone in crisis
