October 10 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
UNC-CH Habitat for Humanity is organizing a student build day at Weaver’s Grove, Orange County Habitat for Humanity’s new neighborhood. Volunteers spend the afternoon helping build a home while learning from community leaders about affordable housing, the history of Weaver’s Grove, and the state of housing in Chapel Hill.
Morning and afternoon shifts are available. Sign-up is required through the Orange Habitat Volunteer Hub (linked on Heel Life), and ride details are shared through the group’s GroupMe. CLE credit is available for undergraduate students.
