The Ackland Art Museum’s fifth annual Acktoberfest is a free evening of art, crafts, and local vendors. Visitors can make paper plants inspired by Phaan Howng’s installation Against Nature in the ART& space and explore the special exhibitions Care and Concern: Recent Acquisitions of Modern and Contemporary Art and Continental Shift: Recent Acquisitions of African Art.
Galleries are open 5–9 PM and vendors are on site 6–8:30 PM. Free and walk-in; no registration required.
