October 28 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based training that teaches participants skills to recognize signs and provide support someone experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. Just as CPR training helps a layperson without formal medical training assist an individual following a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid equips a layperson to assist someone in crisis due to mental health and/or substance use challenges.

These sessions are sponsored for UNC Faculty, Staff and Students using an ONYEN login. Public MHFA Trainings are available HERE.
