SUMMARY:Emotional Eating: The Connection Between Mood and Food
DESCRIPTION:The population of the United States is becoming increasingly obese with each passing decade. There are many speculations about the cause of this phenomenon from an increasing sedentary lifestyle\, the ready availability of high caloric foods to stress and even sleep deprivation. However\, if people ate only when they were truly hungry and stopped when they were full\, there would be no obesity epidemic. DESCRIPTION:Every Thursday evening from August 17 to September 28\, we’re staying open until 7 p.m. so you can enjoy and explore our display gardens after work or class. Our exhibit hall and Garden Shop will be open\, and you’re welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy outdoors – we have lots of benches and picnic tables\, plus open lawn areas for blankets.  \n\n\n\nWith the exception of service animals\, pets are not allowed in the Garden\, and as part of the UNC campus\, open containers of alcohol are prohibited. \n\n\n\nSome evenings will feature food trucks and/or musical acts!
