SUMMARY:Symposium on Trans and Genderqueer Experiences
DESCRIPTION:A way for students\, faculty\, and community members to come together to learn and be in a community with one another! It's an opportunity to learn about academic conversations and theories that queer gender/gendered experiences\, a chance to speak out and/or listen to other's experiences during an open mic\, meet other students\, faculty\, and community members over lunch\, hear from trans and genderqueer alumna experiences being in professional environments\, and think about how we can meaningfully support trans and genderqueer people through collectivity and creativity. \n\n\n\nThe event will have 5 different sections: academic discourse\, student open mic\, lunch\, alumni professional experiences\, and community-building creativity and activism.
